Live each day to the Fullest 26 April 2008

It's been a totally eventful week, being the last week of work, I certainly wasn't the least happy. In fact, sad I was. I just couldn't bear to leave the place I've been working for 7 weeks, what's more, everyone's so nice to me. Moreover, I prefer to work than to study for sure. Have been in a rather moody this week. Opened a bottle of whie wine and drank it for 2 days...

I must say that the last few days of work were really meaningful to me. Earlier this week on monday, I whipped up pasta for my collegues to eat. Really glad that they enjoyed it. Didn't take any pictures of it though... The rest of the days were quite normal, though there wasn't much left for me to do, besides carrying boxes and shredding paper.

On thursday, I took some pictures with my colleagues to be kept as memories, and of course, I made something for each of them and wrote everyone a card. I certainly miss each and everyone of them...
That's Joyce & ME!

From left: Masita, Joyce, ME, Yvonne, Siew Eng

At my desk =D

Rachel, Parvin, ME

ME, Mr Tang(my manager)

The gift I made for them.

And on the last day(yesterday), my supervisor, Annie, treated me and my colleagues to pizza. From what my colleagues say, it's her first time treating someone so generously. I totally appreciate it alot. Thank you so much. What's more she gave me some vouchers from NTUC as well, though she wanted to give me a sports toy car actually. ha. She even asked me to buy 4D with the spare change from the pizza using the receipt number. ha. Kinda cool. I would also like to thank everyone who has worked with me. Thank you for your gifts, most importantly, the love you have showered upon me money can never buy. Thanks joyce for helping me though all these while and for your mini gifts. My cat loves the laser pointer. haha. Truely, it's been great pleasure to be working with you guys.

4 LARGE pizzas, 9 people eating and we had 2 whole pizzas left at the end. ha.

As you guys always say, I think my supervisor somehow will miss me alot. ha. Seems that she wants to talk to me alot on the last day, asking me for advice. ha. Hope she takes my advices seriously. haha. Will visit you guys if I ever can. Hope we can meet up soon too! And thanks for the beer too. ha. Her tears almost came out when she was talking to me.. o well...

I certainly was really sad. Leaving that place after spending weeks there. It's etched deep down within. Seriously, it was my first time being so emotional leaving a place I have worked at, I just couldn't control my tears...

Our passes we left behind. I just feel so weird not having it with me. Too bad we cant keep it. =(

And after work, I went over to my grandma's house for awhile, then went out with my cousins to farm mart to chill out. Had lots to talk about after not meeting each other for eons. Had lots to drink as well. 1 red 1 white. Drank till I was a little seh, just downing the red wine down cos it simply was too awful and too dry. Was kinda tired as well.

Took the cab back to CCK, went to mac for a snack and chatted with my cousin. And finally it was home with the last train...

And once again, thank you each and everyone for all the blessings you have showered me with. From everything, it has always been a reminder to me that giving and blessing others, is certainly a much more meaningful and enjoyable thing to be doing than to be at the end receiving. Most importantly, without LOVE, anything you do means nothing...

Live each day to the Fullest 22 April 2008

It's been quite a day. Firstly, it was raining this morning and it was so cosy that I almost did not manage to wake up for work if not for my mum. To make it worse, I had the runs the moment I woke up. But somehow, amazingly, I still managed to reach CCK on time, only to see the bus leave....cos, being Mr nice guy, I waited for that someone who was later than me! ha.

We decided to take the public bus but amazingly one bus stop became two! 1 real physical one with sardined packed humans, and the other totally the size of a bus stop but only humans with their personal shelter, the umbrella. ha. Totally pack, and I just wonder how we were gonna get up the bus. It's a good thing we had someone to pick us up, though we were late for work. ha. it's ok. got pay alr.

So, what have I been doing at work. Amazingly, shredding paper the whole day...zzz... Totally crap. I pity the machine not me. phew. That's about work. It can get my blood boiling sometimes when the wrong chemicals and physical elements are added into it.

Been rather moody, and I've been drinking wine the past 2 nites.... shall go zzz now lest I wake up late again. ha.

(pictures up soon, loading prob)

Live each day to the Fullest 20 April 2008

It's Sunday night, no Monday morning. And I can't get to sleep because I slept this afternoon. it's been a totally eventful week at work and at fun! There's certainly a story to tell about work everyday and it's just totally fun laughing and joking with my colleagues about just some stuff. ha. The days just pass by so quickly and well, it's the last week of work. And I just totally cant bear to leave that place even though some things can just give you a sudden heart attack.

Saturday was out having fun. Morning was at DG, and guess what, I walked from BPP all the way to church. ha. Insane. nah, it just took me about 30mins. Had a good time enjoying the scenery and just having a good exercise. And at night, went out with my year 1 friends to Blujaz at Bali lane (Bugis). Totally a good place. Good place to chill out with friends! Live band, great music that makes you wanna dance, good food(which was beyond my expectations), reasonable pricing, cosy and comfy seats as well. What more can you expect with the great company of friends! Totally LOVE them all. The class I just wanna be with. =D Had lots to drink, jug after jug, almost knocked out. ha.

Well, we were there to help celebrate Alfred's and PJ's birthday. And certainly, we had alot of fun playing games, chatting up on old good times. A crazy bunch of people but definitely the best of BM0612.

And all in all, there was...
Back Row: YueXin, Yasser, Alfred, Kah Hwee, Cheryl, Arwin
Middle row: Jean, PJ, ME!, JiaHui
Front Row: Germaine, Shijun
And here with have, the 12 most ON people in 0612.

Went off at 11 odd, was a good thing we managed to catch the last train back home, if not... another hole in the pocket. FUN FUN FUN!

And today, went to church and then it was subway at railmall with my usual bunch, aaron, daniel, rach, seewah. Had fun crapping. well, we crap all the time dont we? ha. Then it was shopping at cold storage. As I had promised my colleagues to cook of them, I sure keep my word. =D O can treat it as a community project as part of our 40 days of community project, serving the community we are in. I believe people see our actions and not what we speak. No point talking all the big stuff when you least show the small stuff at all.

Prepared the stuff the moment I got home, and cooked it up at night. Yummy yummy. my pasta is certainly yummy! ha. but it really is la. It's like I added all the stuff in only 1 time without having to taste and add again & again. 2 thumbs & 2 toes up. =D it's almost 1am. Gonna try get some rest. nights.

Live each day to the Fullest 14 April 2008

Last week was totally a cool week for me.

For everyone who has been asking why I went to Tekong, I was there working as part of my attatchment at ST Logistics (Army Logistics Base). On thursday, I was there to distribute the stuff a new recruit needs like uniform, boots, field pack etc. Certainly was a fun day despite the hot and wet weather. I was able to meet many of my friends enlisted that day, as well as to get to know what army life would be like the very first day. Certainly, totally not everyone, especially guys would get that chance, and I'm certainly lucky to be able to feel what it would be like before enlisting.

Back to Singapore from Tekong

On saturday, it was out with my Cal, YZ and Steven. Went down to aljunied (crazy I noe) to have some seafood which cal recommended. Spent a total of about $130 odd. Phew. Totally not worth it for sure. Had black pepper and butter crab. And somehow I didn't know Sri Lankan crabs strunk in size. ha. Had druken prawns in some sort of soup? First time. Deer meet for $15 which was like not more than ur palm size? O my goodness. That money was certainly not well spent. After dinner walked down Geylang to Kallang. Totally an 'interesting' experience. Get what I mean. ha. Was home after that.

Today was back to work... O well, it's just the 2 weeks left of work, and honestly, I certainly will miss working there. I just don't wanna go back to studying. I'm just totally not the study type for sure. Have been sick the entire day ever since yesterday night. Sneezing all day.

By the way, anyone interested in doing any investments? Stocks? Unit Trusts?

Some sceneries from home. All images brought to you by my K850i Sony cybershot 5MP.

And here's your weekly update here! It's been a dreadful week. Having a stomach flu is real real bad. Was on MC for 4 DAYS! Can you believe it? That's how serious and pain it was. The doctor even suggested I go down to A&E.

The pain ain't there now but I lack of appetite. Somehow, I haven't lost any weight? ha. Thanks for all your concerns guys.

Saturday was out to town after DG. Haven't been out for a real long time man. Went down to city hall, walked around with Marvin looking at all the camera stuff. Wanted to get my flash battery pack and lens pouch. Got my lens pouch BUT wrong size.

Was shooting during today's launch of the 40 Days of Community in Church. Nothing much to shoot though. Just a usual service. Then it was home to sleep. That was about my week.

Going to Tekong on Friday! =D I'm not enlisting btw. haha.

Some pictures taken using my 5MP K850i. Did some adjustment to the lighting of the spider shot. Love using it! =D

Hoping for a better week. =D When are we gonna meet Jean? ha.
