And when he did, it was fast man. Till a point we kept missing turns. haha. Then we were talking loads of stuff about coke as well. haha. See what coke and mentos mint can do. haha.

It started out by meeting Fiona at the civic centre library when cassandra called us to join her at RP. so we did and we walked there. It was really windy as we walked there. Seems like there was some typhoon going on out there. Really huge wind and if you are someone that is very thin, you may just get blown off. haha. So we reached there and my first impression was... 'is this a poly or the airport man'. It was simply too cool. Very open to the public. No fence whatsoever. The place was filled with nice stones and water features everywhere as well as nice green carpet grass. Cool right! the school is pratically made out of glass and everywhere is air-conditioned. I wonder how much is the expenses there every month. Everything there is very open based. The canteen is 2 storeys high and is super spacious. The school is just real big and nice. 10000000000x better compared to the squeezy restrained NYP which has nothing.

I love the greenery at RP and the space as well. Toilets and all are like some secret hidden behind a white door which can barely be seen. haha. Study blocks are like some huge offices you see at shenton way man. I love RP except for the study method they use. other than that it's alright.

I must be mad, talking so much about RP. you should just see it for yourself. =DD

Spacious 2 storey canteen

A very huge pond and the arts centre in progress at the back

Spacious hallways everywhere

The sports Hall I think

Like offices right!

greenery like this in enclosures are found everywhere

So that's about some of the pictures that I took.
And after RP I went back to my hometown, CHR. haha. went to take a look at the DNT and all as well as Mr toh and Mr Francis had a long talk and all. ha. pretty good I guess. studied a little. Then when everyone packed off. Mr Toh sent me home. thanx. haha. So this is my day. =D

So this is the fireworks I was talking about. I have a better one but it's too big to be loaded up. So this is the second biggest. Ha.

My day started out at 1130 at the library at the civic centre. I was supposed to be there at 10 but was too lazy to get out of bed. ha. So I woke up at ten showered, then ate bee hoon then went to watch some tv. America's Funniest Home videos. A great way to start my day with laughter.

So I studied at the library alone till cheryl came, followed by Yasser and Pj. Studied, talked, ate at Mac and all till about 545. By the way, I saw Fiona and Cassandra there too! fated lar. haha. wanted to ask fiona if she wanted to study with me at first. ha.

So after all the studying , we went to woodlands park. Climbed up the hill and enjoyed the wonderful breeze. It's truely enjoyable up there.

Us at the top of the hill
So at around 645 we went down and walked to my house but didn't go up. Went to the coffeeshop to get a drink while waiting for Pj to have his meal. Hokkien Mee stall wasn't open. So sad. And after all that we all went home. That was about it. ha.

And here's the video...

Hope you enjoy it. =DD

The fireworks was simply great for sure. For those who did not go or weren't able to see them for some reason, you're lucky cos I took pleny of pictures of it. I was like taking them non-stop for the entire 12 minutes till I took like almost 150 shots. Haha. yea man. Plus videos as well. It's a good thing I have a SLR digital cam.

I was there at the esplanade with my friends at 6pm. Early right. But no man. many people were there already but it is a good thing it wasn't that crowded and so we managed to find a good picnic spot. And we waited whole 3 hours for the 12 minute glance at the fireworks display. People of all walks of life came. Even those in wheelchairs came. Many brought along their cameras and tripods. I wanted to bring it but my dad told me it was gonna be heavy and all. so yea. Nevermind then. It's a good thing God made me with steady hands. HAHA.

Some Photos I took Before the display took place. Please do not think that this photos were taken at different times. All were taken at the same time with different exposures of the lighting done by thecamera. Cool right.

And next, it would be the wonderful fireworks. Hope you guys enjoy it. I wont be uploading too many cause blogspot is giving me alot of problems with the uploading. And I hope youtube won't give me so many problems as well so that you guys can see the fireworks display itself

And so, these are some of the nicest shots I took. Happy admiring. Shan't upload anymore cause it's giving me way too many problems. As well as youtube, cant seem to upload, always stop halfway. So tat's about it. Enjoy! =DD

This is gonna be another long post cause I haven't been able to blog for quite some time since national day, or rather there's alot for me to put up here. especially pictures.

On National Day, we had a celebration over at my house with some family friends as well as my grandpa cos we were celebrating his birthday. Had Popiah for dinner and that was about it as well as some dim sum sashimi and a little baked rice.
Didn't do anything much except for watching tv and chatting. I was supposed to go and meet up with my 4E3 people but decided not to in the end. Makesno difference I guess.

And so we celebrated my grandpa's birthday with a Mango Cake and 6 BIG candles with 14 small candles. Alot of candles on the cake. ha

That's my grandpa with his cake

Me and my Grandpa

My family photo. I have never had this family photo with my grandpa and grandma in it in my entire life.

The food left

That was all for National Day.
And on thursday, it was back to school. It was cheryl's birthday as well as my grandpa's actual birthday. And so we celebrated for cheryl with a cake and loads of presents for her. Was really touching for her. (right?) haha. Had loads of fun

No tissue for cake? Use hand. haha.

The result of using your hand

Yasser Playing the guitar and singing to cheryl. How sweet!

that's all for thurs. And on Friday, which was yesterday, it was time to get a trim. after that short lecture of POM which was a total waste of time, Cheryl Yasser Jean and I went to Chong Pang to eat, but of course nothing but the yummy Hokkien Mee I told them about plus chin chou. Yum Yum!! After eating we went to the saloon. For what? to see me cut my beloved hair. lol. But the cut was well worth it. I cant believe the hairdresser who cut my hair like more than 4 months ago could remember me! haha. Cool right. I couldn't even remember who she was at first. But she's nice and she knows how to cut my hair' Good Job done on my hair man!

My long long fringe

before the cut

During the cut

After the cut

Aint it cool. haha.

Now my head feels much lighter and more airy. ha. My hair is now all puffed up and spiked. yea man.thats all I have for you. wait up for the fireworks I'm gonna load up here. =DD. For now, I'm off to the esplande. Bye!

It's such a sad sad day... I lost my ring today all thanks to someone who doesn't know how to courteously return it to me and act as if nothing has happened. Crap. Though I feel sad over the lost of my ring that has much of sentimental value in it, it's alright. I just miss it alot cos it has alot of value within it.

Some people just have to watch their attitude cos it really sux(not particularly refering to anyone unless you think you are the one) and pisses people off all the time. Being self-centered not thinking of others but yourself ain't going to help any further.

SELF-CENTERED
why are some people just so self-centered? thinking about themselves and themselves alone? Is there like no one looking at their actions and feeling the after effect of their actions? Or is it just a play, an act or just pretence? Do not think of yourself alone my friend, cause you're hurting many people around you if you do not know for your information. Everyone needs their space, their freedom. If you were to be pressured all the time having no air to breathe, what would life be for you?

SELFISHNESS
Eveything in this world does not belong to you and you alone cause you have to share it. You don't ask everyone to get lost just because you want that something and all obstacles have to be removed for you. Life is full of obstacles and you can never expect a road paved out nicely for you. It's all about giving and giving. If you do not give in, what do you expect in return. It's a two way thing and not one in whatever situation. Do not be selfish towards others and towards yourself. Remember GIVING is a greater joy rather than keeping it ALL to yourself.

ATTITUDE
Have a positive attitude in life. Even though things may not seem to be in your way and you get fed-up all over it and your attitude turns sour, do your best to stay with a cheerful and right attitude. But sometimes your normal attitude may just suck to everyone else but you may ot know it. Be open to suggestions others may give and do not turn a deaf ear to advice given. Remember that.

In all that I say remember and heed advice, it may not be the best but that's what I have to say.
Do not take what does not belong to you and give up what you cant take.

(this post does not refer to anyone in particular, jus reflect upon it)

A whole day of fun indeed. it was church in the morning. Had Dg followed by Service. The usual Sunday. Then after church, we had soul, just some intro and that was about it. And of course we played lots of Pool as well. lol!!

During soul
Eve's artistic can

Then Daniel, Cheryl, Hannah and I went to bukit batok, west mall to get food and all and then met daniel at his block. And it was time for FOP!!!(festival of Praise).

So Daniel drove us to the indoor stadium. We ate and then went in. A good thing we didn't have to queue cos we had VIP cards! thanx eve. And so we went in and got really front seats that we could see the guys on stage close up. Amazingly, somehow it was rather empty at the start when it usually would be like super pack at the start already. queues weren't long as well. And at 7, everything started as planned.

Stadium filled with thousands

Had opening speech and all that, and then WOW!!! Christian City Church from Austrilia came out and started to give us a wonderful experience in worshipping God. It was truely amazing seeing so many people praising God together. I could feel the entire stadium shaking, and I mean really totally shaking. Cool man. I think this is the best ever worship experience I had for a long long long time. At first I was quite reluctant to go cos I was quite lazy and all. Then since Daniel had a car, I must as well go man. God has planned for everything and he's really an awesome God.(for you guys out there who do not know the word awesome or do not know how to use it, it's a word that can only be used to describe God and nothing else at ALL!!)

The worship experience is totally different from what it is like in church. I could feel God's presence there. It was coming real strong on me, his holy spirit was filling me up to the brim I felt so so good and I know that he is always there for me. And even as I was singing and started to pray all along as the words moved me tears started to flow out of me. I tried to stop it from coming out but it just couldn't. God was there. He was. And nothing can stop in his presence. I had to pour out all my burdens onto him so he could give me the rest I needed. Ain't he an Awesome God. And as the pastors were praying, many started speaking in tongues(a language that only God understands and no one else, it is a spiritual gift from God alone) It's truely amazing. And the speaker(cant remember his name) talked about how we should start bringin God to the people through the market place. it is so so amazing. And that message really sparked a flame into me. There was alot to do out there. Many people still do not know the true and living God and why they are here for. And we as christians ought to do something about that.

Following that Don Bowen(Is that his name? or Mowen.ha.) lead us in a time or worship, singing all the old and nice songs. It really brought a stirring in my heart and it was really great. The songs ministered to me. And the entire Even was closed by Don's team followed by Christian City Church. And it all came to an end. I wanted to take some pictures during worship but I couldn't cos there was like this feeling in me that made me want to praise the Lords and he removed all distractions from me! Praise be unto the Lord most high.

God had a purpose for me that night and that is why he planned out everything for me. He is Simply GREAT!!!

And after all that singing and jumping, we were all thirsty and hungry and so we decided to go to Gluttons Bay at the Esplanade. I ordered Hokkien Mee. As you know me, I'm a gourmet and my mission now is trying all sorts of Hokkien Mee everywhere I go. But sadly, the Hokkien Mee there was below expectations and it was so expensive. $4.00 man!! I give it 6/10. The chilli was so budget and they gave a small pice of lime. there was no pork in it, the prawns werent pilled and weren't very fresh and the mere pieces of sotong could hardly be seen. I wonder which gourmet went to that stall. Actually I'm nice by giving me 6/10. It would have failed my expectations. There was hardly any smell nor color coming from the very plate. So sad. We had lots of other food as well like carrot cake from cheryl( that was good! 8/10), satay from hannah(sauce pretty good 8/10) and oyster omelette from Daniel(9/10 the chilli wasn't very spicey and yet a little sour, the oysters were well cooked and didnt really taste bitter). And soon it was reaching midnight and Daniel had no choice but to drop me at City hall. A good thing I was able to catch the last train on time. Thank God for his provision. And I reached home at almost 1. ha.

Nice yellow Sports Car we saw at the Esplande carpark

Gluttons Bay

The Hokkien Mee I ordered(6/10)

My teh cino, pretty good I would say

Carrot cake(8/10)

oyster omelette, good chilli with it(9/10)

that's all for my day of wonderful experiences. I hope you enjoyed the pictures I always put up.
