Live each day to the Fullest 31 May 2008

WINE! WINE! WINE! I'm starting to be a wine enthusiast, ok wine appreciator. Those who wanna cheer me up buy me some wine. ha. I love wine from Frane, Germany and perhaps down under. Get me wines from Bordeaux(france), Riesling from Germany or anywhere that has sweet riesling, Carbenet Sauvignon from France or Australia, Chardonnay from anywhere and any others! ha.

If you wanna make me happier, just get me the D300, for those who do not know, it's a camera(DSLR) from Nikon. I don't mind waiting a while more as the price drops. ha.

Live each day to the Fullest 29 May 2008

I've been rather stonny, moody and sick these few days. Just don't wanna do anything except for stone. Perhaps, a walk by the beach, to enjoy the setting of the sun, and the breeze coming from the sea... Test, Test and Test. Really freaks me out.

Anyways, here are some cool stuff I got to chance upon at my grandpa's house quite some time ago. Has anyone played with this before? My grandpa was asking me if it could still be used. And so I tried connecting it to the TV, but sadly, it's somehow dead. =(

Test tomorrow once again. Gotta start studying soon though I just don't have the mood.

Humans just aren't perfect as one should know. With that matter in hand, we know that we often make mistakes that often may hurt others without us knowing them at all. It's until one day that they actually realise the harshness of their deed, and perhaps, it may not have been realised at all.

What's with the world? Everyone's taking it as if it's meant to be like this. Not having the determination to change it for the better. Why should we conform to the patterns of this world? Why can't humans just learn to stand up for what they really want in life. I guess just that 1% in the world does that, perhaps slightly more, that's why we have politicians, leaders, significant people that stand up for what they believe in. I certainly do not believe in conforming to what I feel ain't right to me. Why should I? I just believe that it is so important to stand up for what you believe in.

If you do not agree with what another says, prove what you really mean.
If someone goes against your relationship with God, rebuke Satan out of him.
If people are just so childish, talk some sense into them.
If you're just totally not in the same frequency with him, perhaps, just leave.

Who in the world is there to declare or predict when our world is going to end? WHO? WHO? Who are these people in the world that somehow think they're so smart as to 'predict' when the world will end. If you can really do so, I'll then know you as God, if not you're just a bullshitter that has the evil one, satan in you. And if you call yourself God, but you didn't create this universe, then I will rebuke Satan out of you. Blasphemers!! Satan! Out of these people you evil one. Only God knows everything and anything.

We won't know when the end times are. Today? Tomorrow? Only God knows. But be prepared for we'll never know when it happens. Just read revalations, the last book of the bible, and you'll know what exactly will happen.

Got a bottle of red for the DG picnic, but yea, no one wants to drink it. ha. Can enjoy it another day then. Anyone that appreciates wine out there? bring a bottle over and come join me. =D

And there we went, I finally got to go to the HortPark, situated at Alexandra. Having a DG picnic was certainly a pretty nice thought. Sitting together on the grass, with lots of food in the middle, attracting lots of ants. ha. played bridge, walked round the park, took pictures. I must say the park is really lovely. With lots of different lanscapes to look at, lots of lovely flowers and a beautiful sunset, I certainly had a good time there though it was a little humid and hot. But thank God it didn't rain though the sky was telling us otherwise. Ok, I'm kinda busy editting loads of pictures and doing lots of stuff. So I shan't blabber anymore. Pictures speak a thousand words right? I'll speak a few thousand now. ha. All pictures arent editted, so... =D

And after all that walking, like from hortpark to anchorpoint, we finally sat our butts down at koufu. Had a bit and drink. And then did some shopping. yea.. Amazingly, I finally bought a hoodie from billabong. Went into the shop, saw this hoodie on the manaquine(dunno how to spell), looked around but could not find any. And so, I was told that..that one was the last piece. Got help to take it out, tried, and yea.. TOTALLY MINE! size great, colour great, material great, most importanly, PRICE GREAT. Well, for those who do not know, the shops at anchorpoint are basically selling stuff at warehouse pricing. And therefore, my hoodie was 50% the normal price, leaving me to pay only $45 for it!!! Totally value for money. I mean, its so freaking hard to get a hoodie below $50, let alone a branded one. I'm a happy guy. =DD

That's all for now. =D Will process them soon...if I feel like it. ha.
And if you wanna see the Jam & Hop pictures view them at my flickr. Will load some here, well, when I feel like it. ha.

Being a little moodless, a little emo. I don't know what's gotten into me. Working as a waiter doesnt't seem like the job fit for me. Perhaps, I should just stick to being a photographer, being totally devoted to what I love doing. Carrying a heavy cam of almost 3kg means nothing, but carrying plates that heavy? it just ain't for me. Well, if only I had more jobs at hand, more photography assignments to handle, then perhaps I wouldn't need to get another job.

Today was spent sleeping practically the whole day through, till like 3. Just didn't have the mood to do anything. My neck, it was somehow twisted and it really is painful. And somehow, I'm playing superhero. The guy which just lives on air. Yea, I haven't been eating much. Like today, all I had was scrambled eggs with ham.

Since I was stoning at home the entire day, I decided to head down to school for the Jam & Hop 2008, sort of a clubbing event, loud music, funky bands and a DJ to spin the wheel of course. But of course, since it's school, no booze of course. Well, I wasn't there to rip myself off, but the guy snapping my way through the crowd and live bands. I was pretty amazed by the fact NYP could organise such a event with really loud music, with speakers Blasting off like in clubs and lights splashing everywhere. The good thing is that the space is much bigger as compared to clubs, and therefore, the floors weren't as crazy as what you feel in clubs. How to get so high with no booze? ha. there wasn't very much to shoot except for the bands that played and crazy people monkeying around. My shots aren't the usual I would shoot, well I guess I was trying to capture movement. Tried my best not to use flash so much in order to capture the real mood with motion of people and lights.

Ok, I'm just so very lazy that I don't feel like editing my pictures for the time being. Leaving me to edit the track and field event as well as today's event. Shall upload for you guys real sooooon. Just give me some time and perhaps, find some ways to perk this moodless guy up. =D Leaving you tonight is my favourite shot of the night. See ya soon people. Do leave a tag. =D

Well, first day at work went pretty well I guess. Learnt quite a bit here and there. I mainly did things like serving water and bread, and cleaning the tables. That was about it. Kinda relax for today cos it wasn't crowded at all. And Clement and I were asked to leave at 930 instead of 10. ha. O well, that was about my day.

Live each day to the Fullest 19 May 2008

Monday, Vesak Day = PH. And yes, I slept at 430am again. ha. Was talking to my new found sister again. ha. Woke up at 1030, got ready and went over to my grandpa's house to see his brand new furnished, painted, and basically, revamped clean house. Such a waste I didn't get to take the before shots of it. My grandpa was like asking how to connect an ancient nintendo to like the TV. I was like OMG! where did this thing come from, totally ancient la. I doubt it can be used alr. My grandpa has lots of antiques I must say, from tables, to beds and even a old CPU(now gone) that ran on DOS.

After that, we went over to Vivo for lunch as suggested by my grandpa. Ate at the Sarawak Kolo Mee. Walked round Vivo till we were like crampping in the legs. But we still didn't cover the entire vivo of course. SO many nice things to buy, BUT, $$$ don't drop from the sky. ha.

I brought my Supply Chain notes out, but sadly, I barely read it. And till now, nothing has gone in. ha. DIE! I know I want my grades to be better yet I don't put in the effort. Blah!! And I'm off to work tomorrow! =D Quite excited actually.

Was talking to mei(sister) last nite about loads of weird stuff, and I just think that I'm kinda serious when it comes to certain things. ha. sorry ah. Does anyone out there still believe in horoscopes? ha.

And certainly, I believe that love is what we all need, without love, what joy is there to carry on living. I think I'm 'accidentaly in love' (electrico). ha.

Upload pics some other time. =D

Live each day to the Fullest 18 May 2008

And so, the week has ended and there's a hole in my pocket. OOPS! Well, on friday, I somehow didnt need to sleep all the way to saturday nite. Was online talking to nana till like 430am (saturday morning), slept at 5am, woke up at 8 plus. Amazing feat for me. Then it was off to church for DG and then to calvin's house to 'swim'. Get what I mean?

when i was stoning at wistma

And today, it was church, and then lunch at Rocky's Pizza. A blessing from some church members to my family. =D God's great! It was a really heavy lunch for me, though I didn't exactly eat alot. And I came to realise that sunset way is a very nice place to be at. It's quiet, and the place is just filled with different sorts of restaurents. Must visit that place again sometime soon.

And here's some pictures of the ring I bought. =D

And here's what I've been waiting for! No more having to do everything in one screen. Plus, it's BIGGER, which means movies with a wider screen and photo editting with much ease. Presenting to you, my Acer P193W 19" wide screen monitor. =D

And I just got my haircut today. Wad a week it has been. In just 3 days, I'm close to $500 poorer. =( And therefore, I will be starting work this coming week. Sorry for the long post with loads of pictures. Sorry if your com lagged. ha.

Live each day to the Fullest 16 May 2008

So what's up with shopping alone at Orchard alone? Well, after school, I headed down to J8 with Clement to fix some watch for my mum which was to be given to my grandma. And after that, we went over to dan ryan's, the restaurent clement is working at. And guess what, I was there for a interview. TIME for me to get a job & to get the money rolling in. Been spending quite alot, which means I'm RUNNING DRY!!! Then I thought I was supposed to meet Jean, but in the end I went strolling round orchard alone. =(

Went to coffeebean, got myself a ice cold drink, then went over to ISETAN, went 'marketing'. The food there certainly looks great, went wine wine admiring, didn't buy any though. It's either too ex or non appealing to me. ha. I know I'm just having too many hobbies lar.

Went over to Wistma after that, walked and walked and walked round and round and round. Like 1.5h? while waiting for SJ. And boy, I got myself a pullover from G2000 and then went over to Tag Heuer to get a catalogue. Read it while waiting for SJ. And finally she came at 9. Went over to Food Republic to grab a bite cos what I ate the entire day was but a tiny chicken burger. Then I told her about the ring shop called 'Mio' which I went to earlier and fell in love with this stainless steel ring, along with 2 lines of 18K Gold PLUS what I love most, Blinks! And yea, there were 12 man-made diamonds (considered a crystal?) on it. BLINK BLINK!! And the great deal was it was 1 for 1 =D So I got my Best Friend a ring as well. Bestfriends Rings! =D Truely worth the price I spent for it, The moment you slip it on, you wouldn't wanna take it out. Trust me.

And by then, everywhere else was closing, And so we headed for the bus and back home we went. Sorry. No pictures today. Shall post more the next time. =D

BLINK BLINK! =D

Is NS that a long wait for girls? Is NS really a test for them? Check this movie out, 'Crazy waiting'.

Four couples face crises in their relationships as the men check out for 730 days. Things couldn't be better for Won Jae (Jang Geun Suk) and Hyo Jung (Son Tae Young) who love each other very much. Being six years older than Won Jae, Hyo Jung usually picks up the tabs on their dates, but that doesn't bother her - well, not yet. Eun Suk (Kim San Ho, Mr. Good-Bye) and Jin Ah (Yoo In Young, Les Formidables) are lovey-dovey college sweethearts. To help fill the hole left by his absence, Eun Suk asks his best friend Ki Sung (Lee Ki Woo) to look after his girl while he's gone, but Ki Sung ends up doing more than take good care of Jin Ah. Boram (Jang Hee Jin, Apartment) has the biggest crush on her bandmate Min Cheol (Danny Ahn), and watching him drool over another girl tears her apart. Hur Wook (singer Woo Seung Min) and Be Ang (Han Yeo Reum) first hooked up at a dance club, but as the saying goes - easy come, easy go. When Hur Wook goes away to military, Be Ang realizes there are plenty of fish in the sea. 730 days...just what will happen to these four couples?

And after contemplating for very long in regards to what new design I was gonna do for my shirt, I finally did it. It took me approximately 7-8 hours to complete, using 2 tweezers and a candle, breaking my back bending over heating and pasting crystals, my third self-designed shirt is out. This would be my 2nd Swarovski Crystal studded shirt. And this brand new T-shirt consist of not 50, not 100, not 150 but 175 Swarovski Crystals. I'm sure you'll be able to spot me wearing it. ha. I'm the BLING BLING guy who loves my Blinks!

Lots to blog, but I'm just so lazy. Moving on, I just bought 2 bottles of wine today! One red, one white. I hope my choices are good. Love this 2 types of wine.
Let me introduce you to them.
1. Mosel-Saar-Ruwer(Germany)

Both the Saar and the Ruwer deserve to stand alongside the Mosel as part of a great region because they produce some of the best, lest-well-known wines here. The Mosel-Saar-Ruwer is a delicate, floral, off-dry and lusciously sweet Riesling. It is located west of Germany. The Mosel-Saar-Ruwer is pale and light-bodied. Certainly a good choice. =D

2. Bordeaux Superieur, Chateau(France)

Made from riper grapes as compared to the basic Bordeaux

Enough for now, to be continued some other time when I'm bored. =D

So it was to Kallang Stadium this morning. Weather was TOTALLY GOOD! Shady, hardly any sun, not hot at all, a little drizzle, but overall, it was just great! Thank God.
Outing went rather ok except for the many complains that there wasn't anything to shoot. Like please, I mean if you are into photography, how can there be nothing to shoot! It totally pissed me off. And so I just told them if they weren't interested they could leave first. And from there, I saw those that truely wanted to learn more and shoot. Appreciate their optimism. Didn't shoot much myself. And so here they are... (these are the b&w ones, colored ones can be viewed at my flickr

One of my favourite shots at the concert.

It's over 11:59 pm comments (0)

It's been a challanging task for me to be shooting at my very own sit, not having to move about. The constraint in space sometimes makes it hard for me to change my lenses. But I believe I've done a great job in shooting Ngee Ann Polytechnic's Choir's concert, Grandioso 3 at NAFA. My seat was great! plus out of every single entire seat, somehow it was made that no one was sitting in front of me, though I wasn't the official photographer of the day. But seriously, I wonder if they actually had a photographer around because I saw some guys carrying their cams but I barely saw them shooting. ??? Anyways, cut the story short, I've editted the pictures painstakingly Hope you guys enjoy them. =D

Of course, more can be viewed at my flickr =D

The weather's a KILLER. No matter how strong you blast the aircon, the moment you step out of that comfort zone, it's a killer. No amount of cold showers will help cos the moment you step out, you're perspiring already. Drink loads of water people.

This is how I've been trying to quench myself.
I bought a cup more than twice the size of a normal cup. Great choice for making lots of juices with loads of ice.

Henekien alone? Nah, I froze it at -22 degree celcius. See the ice on the top. ha.

And how about some mango with ice. Yum! From some dessert stall,B1, Junction 8. Really good. Thick, sweet, and ask for more ice shavings if you want it real cold! $3.50. A little pricy though for a small bowl. But it's worth it. =D
