Live each day to the Fullest 26 April 2009

Working for the past week has been a totally fun and enjoyable experience. Despite the tiredness and the heat, I believe we all enjoyed each others company. Having some spare time, we decided to take a picture using a laptop's webcam. ha. Turned out pretty well! Another day at work tomorrow!

Work's fun, and I'm glad I made so many new friends as well. Though they love to gossip and take me as a joke which seems so scandalous, I'm glad I am used as something to make them laugh despite a tiring day. My legs are aching, and I can barely sleep every night. I wonder why... Gonna try sleep now. Nights!

Listening to Kam Ning's piece - Amazing Grace on the President's Command Performance really made me lost for words. Most importantly, she ended by thanking our Lord God Almighty for giving her all that she has. I think this really teaches us to stand up for our faith. Though in the midst of a multi-religious society, she dared to thank God in front of everyone. Plus the piece Amazing Grace, it just shows us the grace God has given us so freely. Do visit her site http://www.ningkam.com/. Read what she has to say on the link charity.

I shall just extract part of it here: 'What are our talents for ? Yes, to bring God His due glory for what He created. But what truly gives God His glory, is when we reflect His character in what we do...to others. There are people all over the world who have yet to hear of His Name, who are right this minute living under desperate circumstances.'

Take up the challange and stand for God my friends. I hope everyone will start motivating themselves, and christians around yourself to spread the gospel, the true and living word of God. God Bless.

I believe everyone's feeling the extreme heat here in Singapore. With temperatures reaching 33 degree celcius, adding on the humidity of the air, it's no wonder all of us are going crazy. I'm practically 'raining' all the time, even with cold showers.

Anyways, yesterday was an entire day spent with my cousins! Though we had a really bad lunch at this restaurant called 'Lai Lai' at Jurong Point, we had a hearty good 8 course meal at Sheng Shiong's Zi Char stall. Though we didn't do much besides staying inside the aircon room playing mj, I think we enjoyed ourselves apart from the weather.

I'm starting work tomorrow! This time at NYP selling fujitsu laptops. Trust me, I still think fujitsu is still the best laptop brand to buy. If being the top seller at all polys does not give you a clue about that, or the most expensive laptop fujitsu's selling is actually selling like hotcakes, then you go figure out yourself. Catch me at the atrium. =D

Just imagine going down to the airport to pay $280 in fines and $31.95 of taxes because someone failed to declare bringing alcohol into Singapore not knowing that the limit is litre. zzz.

The long awaited get together finally succeeded! We went over to Timbre at Old School. Pretty good place to chill out, nice and quiet and it wasn't the least crowded. Enjoyed all the chats we had. Love you guys! Meet up soon, I hope. haha.

2 movies in 1 day - Fast & Furious 4 & Shinjuku Incident. FF4 wasn't that exciting at all. There wasn't much details about the cars and the amount of racing was just ugh. Shinjuku was definitely much better. It certainly had an impactful underlying message.

I'm pretty drousy and tired after just lazing around doing nothing at all... I'm tired, I don't know what's on my mind. I wonder if I just wanna be alone, or do I really long for you.... Hmmmm.... One step at a time, all in God's time...

The youth's at SKMC were really cute. I saw this 2 pieces of MJ paper on their wall, written by the girls and guys seperately. They were kinda making an oath/vow that their life partner would be a christian and that they would trust God on it, something like that. I shall try take a picture of it someday. ha. But that's the way to go man! ha.

Easter Sunday at WOW was certainly a different experience this year, with prayer walks for both the seniors and the juniors, and lots of balloons. ha. Decided to lug my heavy tripod to church today to capture some motion shots, since I didn't get my sunset yesterday. ha. Tried putting various layers together to form some of the pictures.

Junior Youth's (Sec 1 to 3) Prayer Stations

Senior Youth's (Sec 4>) Prayer Stations

Worship & Sharing

And lotsa balloons! We were supposed to release them all into the sky and I thought I was gonna be able to capture such a wonderful shot, but we decided not to due to environmental reasons. =D
Happy Easter Everyone! God Bless!

What an entirely exhausting day it has been! I barely slept the entire night, waking up several times, going for DG at 10am, and then going down to SKMC at 3pm. I had a totally interesting experience with what we call, prayer run. ha. Not walk, RUN! Running round SKMC's neighbourhood, with a little rain, stopping over at various destinations to pray for different groups of people. Though I felt that it wasn't too good an idea as we certainly were not calm and settled down. Perhaps a stroll would do better. =D

I brought my cam, tripod wanting to take some beautiful sunsets I often see at Sengkang, but sadly, the rain dampended it all. =(

Pretty much exhausted, we went to have dinner, borrowed some DVDs & went over to Joshua's house to catch them.

Sadly, the photographer does not get to be in the picture most of the time. Guess it's my joy to see others in it and not myself. I guess that's where I learn to care for others more than myself. ha.

I'm totally exhausted.... But it certainly was an incredible day! Praise God. Hope to interact more with you peeps at SKMC soon! =D Won't be going down the next two weeks though... =( Nights everyone! God bless!

Some companies are just retarded. They have poor policies, lousy standards, poor communication skills, poor IT support, bad human resource policies, and they just do not know how to motivate staff. Sometimes, it isn't the company that's at fault, but the people these companies hired wrongly. If you know where I kinda work at, then you'll know what I'm talking about. There's nothing more I can say about retards. They are either retarded or they're just retarded, get what I mean!

Shooting the S R Nathan Cup at Republic Polytechnic was rather interesting, just that it was really hot and humid. Sadly, NYP lost 0-1 to NUS. After winning 2 years in a row, NYP did not manage to retain the trophy.

Phew, I'm so so so tired....

3 Services in 2 Days. FFW @ SKMC, Main service at BPMC where I played for worship, and then to WOW. Surprisingly, I was still sober at the end. ha. Made lots of new friends at SKMC, more of those my age now. It's a brand new week once again, the Holy Week. More time will be spent in church.

Anyways I tried a new drink with the Choya I bought. It's pink in colour, the not so sweet version. Anyways, it's just choya mixed with lychee. It's pleasing to the eyes, giving out a nice smell and sweet taste. Cheers!

Have a good week ahead everyone! =D Thank God for all the blessing he has given to you so freely...

I've been doing so many things this week I just feel so lazy to update... blah.. Let's begin with...

310309
Went to visit my grandpa's niche with my uncles, grandma and my dad. It's been almost 4 years since I've been there...

010409
April's Fool. Started work at popular after 2 weeks. I was filled with activities the entire day! Work, followed by the gym, to church for worship practice, and then I went to meet up with Joel.

020409
Work as usual, and and and... I started my first driving practical! Awesomely FUN! First lesson and it was raining cats and dogs! Thank God it stopped. I think I'm so a reckless driver. ha. But I think it's easier to drive fast than slow. Need some time to get used to the clutch. Overall, it was fun! Not tiring at all! Went over to cher's house for awhile after that. Went home, and it was out again to church for some jamming! Had pretty much fun playin the drums and guitar, trying new songs and different styles. And can you believe that I actually spent more than $7.00 on transport in one day just taking buses and trains around!?!?

030409
Work was really tiring. I think it's because I just had so little rest the day before with all the wonderful activities. ha. But still I pushed myself.. Went home to rest after work, then went to town to meet my buddies from BSU! NYP was certainly fun only because there were people like them. Went over to Cafe Cartel to eat. I just think I'm so a hungry ghost these few days! We were like eating some bread before dinner, and dinner came. It consisted of like chicken chop, pork chop, sausage, spagetti, and salad. I finished everything and still could eat bread after that. haha. After all that fun, I went over to the calvin's house for just 2 rounds of MJ. ha. I think my life's just so happening now. lol.

Living life to the fullest! I hope everyone does that!
