Live each day to the Fullest 30 June 2008

I'm tired. I just do not know who I can really relate to. The people around me just seem so out of my freqeuncy zone sometimes. I get so exasperated talking to people that just don't seem to get the real intention of starting a converstation in the first place. I'm tired. I do think not talking is still the best solution, especially when people just don't process what they are saying, only to shoot them off without thinking, not sparing a thought for the feelings of others. There's nothing more I can say. I'm just tired. Sometimes, I feel that is is much easier to do things on my own, with God giving me the strength, rather than count on humans that are so indecisive, and insensitive. What more can I say? I'm tired....

The day started bad with me getting up just on time for service. Which means 11am when rachel called me. I guess I was having a really good sleep no matter how hot it was, or how noisy it was. Sleeping all the way through was something I haven't done for quite some time. And yea, since I was awake, I decided to rush to church, cos I really wanted to go to church. Well, just in time, the bus left me as usual and I took a cab down that cost me $7.60. And today's topic was on 'the law of the toothpaste tube'. WOW. And our service barely ended at 12. WOW!!

And everyone practically zoomed off after that(I mean aaron and daniel). And Rachel went for steamboat. And that left me, marvin and seewah to go for lunch. BUT nice Seewah PSed up for a car!!! O well, leaving me and marvin to eat at mac. Cos marvin wants to gain fat to burn at tekong. ha. And from the words he says, I certainly believe I should go to NS early.

Ok, I'm just having mood swings... And school is in 7hours and it's waking up in 5.5hrs. Nites

Had our young adults plus senior youths BBQ this evening at Uncle Kenny's house. Went pretty well, had lots of laughter and lots of food. Had a chance to mingle with some of the young adults which I already know. ha. Anyways, had pretty good conversations going on. And after all the laughing and eating and talking, we went off at around 915pm?
Home? of course not! Our usual bunch went to island creamery for some ice-cream! We barely sat for 20mins I believe. ha. Cos when I tapped my card upon reaching home, there was still the 25cents transfer bus thing. That means, the time we took to walk to island creamery, order, eat and then walk to the bus stop took us less than half an hour. ha. And I had some Tiger Sorbet, and when I asked what it was, they said it was Tiger beer. Cool! Some unique flavour I had to try. And besides, I had strawberry Magarita. Alcoholic. lol. nah, you cant exactly taste any alcohol. ha.

Off the usual music on my blog and listen to this video instead. =D

I'm feeling a little mooooody now... Having mood swings....

The intention of the night was meant to be at Zouk, Phuture. But in the end, we enjoyed touring in Jeronme's car, going to Holland V first. I had actually booked tables at Settlers cafe, but upon reaching, the place didn't seem like one we would enjoy.

Ended up grabbing ice cream and then heading over to boat quay. Spent quite some time driving around cos we didn't know where exactly it was. Ha. headed to minds cafe, reserved a spot as it was full and went over at abt 11.20pm. Meanwhile, we went to Archipelago(spelt that way?) for a drink. Had a apple martini but somehow it felt diluted with apple juice to me. ha.Headed over to Mind's Cafe soon later, and boy, we had a superbly great time, though we played for only an hour odd cos we needed to move on. The game was real long but we really went high playing it.

And after all that craziness, we headed back home, but in the end it was supper at Al-ameen!!! Cool man! and once again, my prata did not come. ha. they seem to forget my orders all the time. crap. that ain't the highlight. What mattered most was that we enjoyed the company and had loads of things to talk about. From cars, to girls and guys, to smoking to tattoos, and practically everything that can be so real in our lives. It was only till about 3.40am when it was about to rain that we started walking off.

Certainly, we really had a great time and I believe we're gonna organise more of such outings soon. Secondary School friends, are still simply the best people to hangout with. =D
And here's the videos

School as usual. Time passed rather quickly, yet slowly during lesson time. Discussed project after school and then went to the studio after lunch to meet nie and wee leong. Ok, my typing seems bored today. ha. slacked, stonned, talked. Did nothing much except for taking random pictures and posing in front of the cam. ha.
I think I should switch to being infront of the cam instead. ha. Anyone wanna do couple shoot with me? lol. And anyone wanna be my photographer? ha.

Well, I wore my new shoes to school in order to season it, and this is what happened. And the best thing of the day is that I got extorted of $4.00 for 4 freaking plasters!!! Thanks Yvonne. ha. The worst blisters I have ever had. 3 on each foot. =(

And after all that stonning, we walked to S-11 at AMK to have our dinner. Just had my oyster ommelete, and the price has risen from $3 to $4. =( All I had the entire day was 1 egg prata, 2 kosongs and the oyster ommelete, barely much I had.

Went home, saw some interesting stuff, and whipped out my cam. Just some simple shots. The first is a birdnest in one of our plants. The second? It's a caterpillar making its cocoon. And it was a big caterpillar, sadly, it got scared of all the humans around in and decided not to come out again. Sadly, I wasn't able to meet it to capture a shot of it before it turns into a beautiful butterfly.

Nights!

I know I'm always talking about death. And it is because it is just so real to me. Going for my grandaunt's funeral was like a another visit to a friend. Even though, we weren't exactly close, nor did I know her very well, I felt a sort of obligation to go. Maybe it's because I'm the eldest grandson of my family. Learnt alot about my grandaunt's family as well as the extended family. If I were to draw a humongous family tree relating everyone, I wonder when it will end. ha.
Well, it's sad to see your loved ones go, especially for the immediate family and anyone close. It's even more sad when you know your loved one is going to spend eternal life somewhere we wouldn't think of going. On the other end, I believe it is a joyous occasion knowing that one day, you will meet him/her in heaven together with God. The same question again, 'Do you know where you are going after death?'
Paying your last respects at a buddhist/taoist funeral may sometimes be hard for us as Christians. But one thing for sure, we need to make our stand. We do not offer jossticks to the deceased, nor do we bow down before them. I believe that the only person we bow down to is our King in Heaven.

So after the entire funeral which lasted 4 days, I went to ikea/alexandra/queensway with my mum. Finally bought myself a pair of casual shoes. So that's about my day. Did not go to school today.

I'm so tired I just don't have any mood to study....

Live each day to the Fullest 22 June 2008

Having not slept for close to 38 hours, I finally woke up from my 12hr sleep a few hours ago.

Friday night to saturday morning - Supper, MJ, walk/jog, home, shower, to market to buy breakfast for my family, home, out to church for DG, out to Lot 1 for lunch with usual bunch, grandma's house, and a sudden news of my grandaunt's death lead me to going down for the wake as well. Home? Close to 11pm.

And that was how I spend close to 36 hours by then. Amazing number of things I can do. But yet, I wasn't exactly tired though I wanted to go home after DG to sleep initially. But I guess, spending time with your loved ones are more important than sleep.

The afternoon spent with my close buddies was sure GREAT! Talking about stuff like CPF, financial planning, how we use our money, where our money eventually goes to when we start work, marriage, getting your second half was really mind-opening and fun to talk about rather than the usual crap. ha. Ate lunch and talk for about 1.5hrs? And then the girls went to do their shopping while we guys... did our own shopping too! at the supermarket. ha. Yea, we were shopping for buns and dogs(hotdogs) for Sunday's Visa(Very Interesting Social Activity) for our junior youths at WOW. Just take a look at the amount of buns we bought. Practically everyone was starring at us. haha.
And after that, we went to find the girls, but them still shopping, we went to pamper ourselves with some nice Hokkaido Ice-cream. SHIOK! The desserts and ice-cream there were really really super duper GOOD! The 3 of us certainly had lots of fun. Somehow like relieving our childhood times. Ordered one dessert after another. =X
The girls came back and we did a little more walking and we all went off! I went to my grandma house and all. Shan't ellaborate more. And yea, it seems like it's a death almost every other week. =(

Went home, looked at my recent pictures wanting to sort them out, tryin to delete lots of old crap. AND GUESS WHAT I DID!?!?! I accidentaly deleted many of my event pictures!!!! IMAGINE THAT!!! What's worse is that I have not burned them into DVDS!!! How crap can that be? Anyone able to help me retrieve them? I only have copyrighted images left on my flickr, which is a good thing. Other than that... I'm just sad... Guess not having enough sleep leads to seeing the wrong things and thus the mistake.

O well, lots left to do on my current 'to do list'. And deleting files off my hard disk, it's more work to do.

And one last thing guys, support Simplyshoes by helping me promote it or simply by linking Simplyshoes on your friendster/facebook/blog/anything! Your help is really much appreciated!

Shoes, shoes and more shoes. I spent the whole day doing nothing but designing and painting shoes, apart from the sneezing and stonning. Did 4 shoes today. Kinda rusty after not doing them for months. And now, I'm back with my new collection. Shall call it, 'Randomness, Colours, Art' for now. Just throwing colours around, having fun is just great!

Would my life or yours be as colourful as this?
This is what I call ART!The table is fully occupied with all my stuff. Real messy!

Should I love you more than I ever should....?

How about a poem written by Annie. =D Love it. ha.

This guy called justin;
Face it;
He’s just my total opposite;

He gets serious over many small things;
while being uptight isn’t my kind of thing.

He goes on outing carrying that humongous D100;
While all I can say is; wo hen re!

And there he is casually refreshing my blog;
While I kill my cells trying to end this poem for him with a full-stop! =)

Live each day to the Fullest 18 June 2008

The day started out with me feeling so exhausted, lack of sleep, tired. Slept at about 4am again and woke up at about 9 plus though we were supposed to meet for projects at 10am. Well, in the end, everyone was late. I just had no mood to do projects after the lack of sleep and exhaustion. Left the discussions and went to school to sit in for our NYPPC meeting to discuss some matters. Well, almost everyone was late too! ha.
We listen, we stare, we don't talk. lol

Ok, after the meeting, walked to AMK Hub for lunch with Anniething and mei-mei. Real interesting people. ha. =X Then headed to the arcade to destress!!! And this was some interesting game they played that was totally funny!
I'm happy to see you happy =D
Played daytona and I won twice. haha. (Nie, last min is still win. ha.) And I found a card at the basketball machines. Tapped and whoa, free game. Felt even more tired after that. Then I tapped again to see if there was money, and there went another game, making me even more tired. ha.

Then took a cab back to rachel's house to continue with the proj. I was stoning more. ha. I spent like more than 10 bucks on transport today! Faints...

Gotta keep simplyshoes running. =D Anyone interested please email me.

Ok, it has been a really hectic day and blogging? I'm just rushing through it. Slept at 4am? almost 5am. Woke up at 10, got ready and went out to Yishun, Chong Pang to source for my shoes. Settled done, went down to city hall. Met up with my mum and grandpa to have lunch. Some sort of father's day lunch for my grandpa which my mum wanted to treat him. But I ended up secretly paying for the meal. ha. almost a hundred for 4 set lunches. Pretty good. Salad/Soup+Main+Cake+Coffee/Tea. Service there is also very good. Good training ground for the shatec students. Afterall, it's a shatec restaurent.

Then we walked around both Peninsulas'. Went to TCW, chit chat, then went over to robinsons at Raffles City. Got myself 2 formal tops and a pants. At least it's some shopping this GSS. Walked and walked.. I shan't go into further detail what else cos I'm really tired. Busy all day. Talking to people, getting my business into better shape, fine tuning it. And with the lack of sleep, it's no wonder.

And that's the amount of shoes I ordered. Ha. Not all mine la. lol.

Do visit Simplyshoes! It's back into business!Do support me people. By simply linking me! And here's the link you can copy and paste.

And as I had promised, how about taking a look at how interesting photographers in Singapore can get. If you had read my earlier post a few post down, I talked about how those photographers can get. And here's the video. =D

Woke up feeling kinda weird and bored today though the day turned out pretty well. Went to sleep the day earlier feeling uneasy. Just felt that part of my day was missing.

Anyways, I finally got to go out with Jean and Emily together with Shijun. Em came over, had lunch, and we were over to PS to meet SJ followed by Jean. Checked the movie seating for Sex and the City before I left the house and it was like 3 rolls filled? And by the time we went to get the tix, it was like totally full with a few seats left! Had to watch the 6.40pm show instead of the intended 3.55 one. Anyways, that gave us a good opportunity to sit at Starbucks and talk about our lives. I mean theirs. ha. I have nothing much to talk about with 3 girls that are in love except me. ha. O well, sad life. Talked alot after not meeting each other for eons? The last time we went out was...I can't remember but it was to Bugis.

After the long talked, we went to catch our movie. Sex and the City is truely a good show and it certainly is worth the catch. Romantic, about love, fashion, though it was a little sad and it could set you crying. Just reminds me of so many things in life.

One thing, having true friends by your side forever till the day you die, is so so so important. And that is why I put my friends, I mean true friends before myself. It's worth the sacrifice hanging out with them no matter how tired I really am.

Secondly, true love last forever. No matter how hard the knocks were, how bad the quarrels were, true love will withstand all that. If it ain't true love, it's just but a fling, or perhaps your head just got clogged up somewhere, being infactuated with the person for that moment or two.

And finally, no matter what wrong your true friend or love did to you, forgiveness is the key. Without forgiveness, that burden will stay with you forever. Don't live/die to regret. If you have any one you haven't forgiven, it's time to let go.

And after the show, Jean and I went for supper at Al-Ameen because the other 2 were tired and did not want to come along. Sadded. Had a good talk with Jean and Yasser came along. Had a good talk among the 3 of us. And thanks Yasser for the treat. ha. First time he treating me you know. lol. And then it was home sweet home. As I'm blogging, so many things are going through my head. And I'm wide awake, can't seem to sleep. People are just making me worried sometimes. I'm the kind of person that really shows alot of concern for my friends(close & true) and I'll get worried if I don't hear from him/her when it's a norm. O well, should I still care if they don't? I guess I still will...

Live each day to the Fullest 15 June 2008

My day started quite badly after meeting shijun, taking the journey to habourfront which took years cos the bus was going real slowly. And upon reaching, going to the foodcourt, I realised... THAT MY SUNGLASSES OF MORE THAN 2 YEARS WENT MISSING!!! And the weird thing is, I had been wearing it all the time, if not holding it in my hand. It did not drop when I left the bus nor left it anywhere. I went back to check the bus, and there was nothing left at all. The captain saw nothing either. Ain't it weird? ARGHH!!! Crap. So ate my lunch quite sadly, and then went over to vivo to shop.

Had this Thai fest thing at the atrium where thai designers came over to sell their ware. I must say they really have talent and their clothes are rather nice and cheap of cos. Bought 2 pants from this nice guy costing only $35 each which I normal see in singapore for above $50. And there below is me with the designer. Nice dude. =D

And after buying my stuff, watched the fashion show by some designer, and actually, I wasn't there to watch the show, I was there to see how retarded Singaporean photographers can really get. And I mean retarded. I mean which photographer goes around hanging around, and I mean in big groups waiting for a freaking show to start. And best of all, they bring ladders so that they can be taller than everyone? OMG! worst scene I've ever seen in my entire life. I just feels it spoils the reputation of a professional. I certainly would not risk my reputation and stand with them. I rather shoot like from a kilometre away from them or something. And so can you see how many there are? ha. I should upload the video of them taking pictures uniformly soon. ha. cameras up all up, down, all down tgt. lol.

And after all the walking and talking, we went over to Sushi Teh for dinner. WOW! Long queue ahead of us. But it went pretty fast and TES, the wait was certainly worth it. Food came fast and yes, one word. GOOD! Shan't talk so much, just see the food we had for yourself. ha.

And after the hearty meal, though I didn't really eat alot, we went to do a little more shopping. Bought some masks which supposedly can help me clear my pimples. Then it was over to HortPark for our lovely romantic affair under the stars. ha. Brought a bottle of wine as demanded by my bestfriend. ha. But it was nice drinking in a park like I have always wanted. Had a messy affair after i spilt some wine, I mean a cup, ha, and it went on the grass, my phone! her clothes(new ones) and everything was red. lol. And later, some went on my new pants too! ha. Good thing I was able to wash it off. We were kinda tired, like I slept at 6am and woke up at 10am? and the wine made us more drowsy. 2 people finishing a bottle. ha. Left the park at 10 odd, feeling a little emo.

And so, will some nice soul(s) buy me a new pair of sunglasses for my birthday or something? =D I would love something like this, Oakley's Straight Jacket

Let me know if you're gonna get it for me okay. I will love you forever. ha.
