Contemplating on the decision if Halloween at Zouk would be a good idea...
Considering the fact that Zouk will be SUPER DUPER crowded inside out, if only you started queuing at perhaps 7/8pm? Just imagine the dance floors being so crazily crowded, drinks spilling everywhere. Ugh.
And thus... I shall consider going there to take some snap shots of those people dressed so crazily. =D Hopefully you people can spot a guy in all black with a crystal studded shirt. ha.
Been quite awhile since I went to the Admiralty Park located just beside RP. I brought my friend Mr Lumix to reccee the place. Amazingly, many of the RP people I know haven't been to the park when they are like right beside it? Young people just don't appreciate nature somehow, not all of course.
Though the park is pretty new, and not everything is ready, nor has nature fully bloomed, I think it's a great place to take a stroll in the late afternoon after 4pm. Whether it is because you are feeling down, wanting to enjoy nature, snap some shots, or simply taking a stroll, do check that park out especially if you are staying in Woodlands or better, studying in RP.
Here are some shots taken with my Lumix. Blogger's acting weird and medium sized pictures taken from my flickr tend to exceed the centre, thus the small images. For more pictures in bigger size, view Justin Kon Photography
When you feel like you're being loved by someone, question no more, give the love back just as you want to feel loved.
This place will be updated REAL SHORTLY after I have the time to relax, settle, and edit my pictures. And by that time, this place will be overwhelmingly flooded. =D
So how did my 19th go? I wouldn't say anything great besides my usual great company. =D The KLKKs. ha. Just had a mini dinner at my place which many turned out not being able to make it for. =( At least that was replaced with some fun at Powerhouse. ha.
But honestly, I doubt I will go back to powerhouse again. The service sucks, the music wasn't really fantastic, and the dance floor wasn't that great. Clubbed all the way till 4am, went for breakfast at mac, and home it was.
As I turn one year older, I hope to achieve many more things during this final teenage year of mine.
1. Do well for my final semester in poly. 2. Be able to find myself a business team that is able to work well together. 3. Accomplish and set more goals for myself. 4. Be able to spend more time with my loved ones even as I'm gonna enter the army real soon, though I'm not sure when yet. ha. 5. Train myself up.
And besides all... I wish, I hope... 1. For all my family and friends to be healthy. 2. For all my loved ones to be happy always.
I think these are the most important things to me in life. The richest of the earth are nothing compared to seeing a smile on a loved one's face.
And through it all, and especially on my birthday, it's really possible to tell who your true friends are, and those who remember you on your very special day. Thank you all so much. Thank you Shijun(my bestest friend!), Cheryl(my bff as well!), Aaron of cos, for messaging me all the way from Ireland, Rachel, Emily for wishing me from HK, and all my KLKKs, Angela for being the first person to spend the day with me, ha, and Jessy, hopefully you enjoyed your first time clubbing though I kept stepping on you. ha. Zouk next time yea. lol.
Here's a video to end it all. =D
Shall wait for Ms Lim to upload the rest of the pics. =D
Wine for Asia 2008 As part of this international exhibition hosting many exhibitors from the various wine producing countries, I was glad that I was part of this event as a photographer for jiuwine.com, an online community of wine lovers. Getting to network and talk to people from all over the world was certainly a great experience. Through this exhibition/trade show, I enjoyed wines from Italy, Austria, and some Bordeaux. Being able to walk around freely, not having to pay, getting a press pass, being able to enjoy VIP treatment, was just totally cool, and I must say a really great experience for me. And certainly, I was glad to be invited to a German Wine and Food Dinner held at Marina Mandarin. How would German wine taste with chinese cuisine? Certainly great! Can you imagine yourself having to try like 17 wines at a 8 course dinner? Certainly enjoyed the various types of Rieslings the Germans are famous for, the Muskatellers were great too. And for the final dessert wine of Huxelrebe Beerenauslese, it was just awesome, something similar to Eiswein. Felt so 'wasted' after the entire thing. Good thing I still managed to take a bus home. Just look at the number of glasses there are on the table. It's as if we had a party for over 50. FYI, each person used an average on 17 glasses.Overall, I had a great experience with the wines and with the people I met. Certainly learnt more about German wines, Italian wines, and Austrian wines. (I apologise if you do not understand those wine terms. =D) For more pictures visit Justin Kon Photography.
As the hols come to an end for most of us, I begin to think of the times I have spent with my lovely friends who call themselves the klkk group. This holiday has certainly been a really fruitful one for me, besides the stoning, sleeping, working and spending. I've got to know this bunch of friends even better. Despite the differences, quarrels, I believe we still are one crazy bunch of klkk's.
Just as school is starting, and our much awaited BBQ over, I believe, we have got to know each other alot better.
Often, when I think of the times we share, it brings tears to my eyes. The laughter we brought each other, the craziness we experience...
Yet sometimes, we quarrel at the slightest of things, getting emotional, pissed, angry, intolerant of each other...
But still, the people we are, the friends that we will always be. The times we cherish, for as long as we shall live...
The late nights we have had, ths places around Singapore we have been. Getting to know more friends through friends, and one day, through the years, our circle will grow bigger than we can expect.
If there's this person I would want to thank, it would be God, for bringing you guys into my life. For the friends he has given to me, for all the blessings we have received.
If I have this one request, it's that each and everyone of YOU, will get to experience what God has for you.
Life is just so imperfect. Sorrows, breakups, relationship problems, work, school, friends, family. But remember friends will also stand by you despite all that you are going through. It is only through this you would really come to know who friends really are to you.
With friends around, there's no need to fear. Everyone has the right to share what they want to. As friends, we make the environment one that one will open, for just one reason, to share the burden with you.
I can't imagine the world without friends, especially without you guys. My hols would be the worst nightmare, my boredness will turn me mad. And certainly, life wouldn't be what it is like right now.
I just hope, we'll always stay as friends for the rest of our lives. And in order to do those, everyone just has to be as equally as committed. To care, to love, and to be there for each other.
Teamwork is vital, and remember, and all that we do, we work as a team just as a team needs everyone to work together.
I believe, we all need each other now or then. We need everyone, maybe that someone at just one point of our lives or another.
Thank you all so much guys, for being in my life, for loving me, being there for me. Certainly, I would like to thank everyone in person.
Thank you so so much... Jeronme for all your concerns, for the times you think more maturely than the rest, for the car rides round Singapore and for all the fun we've had.
Angela for all your laughter at almost everything, for helping me when I needed help, and for all the stupid quarrels we had which meant nothing.
Kai Meng for making us laugh with those lame jokes and for organizing many of out outings and for the times at the gym.
Joel, Chin Wei, Melissa, Charis, Haresh for just your pressence though we do not meet up that often. But still, every single of your pressence still matter to me, big or small. (hopefully the october babies can celebrate together. ha.)
Couch and Jessy, though I haven't exactly known you guys for long, I'm glad you guys are able to hang out with us so well. You two mean alot certainly. Another one person is another friendship gained. Certainly hope to know you guys better.
And finally, to Shijun and Cher, thank you both so much besties for always being there. There's nothing much I can stay but I know you 2 know what I mean from my heart.
Loving you guys always, Justin. (feel free to get the pictures from me =D)
Sorry, I know this post is really long. But I hope you guys find meaning in it.
If you have been staring at those same posts, I'm sorry. ha. It's not that I'm lazy or what. Computer crashed for a couple of days, just getting it back running, lots of events going on. And with my next post, it will be flooded with pictures. ha.
After so much boredom yesterday, I decided to get my cam to work. Class 95 Car Decal giveaway at Woodlands Stadium. Just a bare 5mins walk from my house. And of course, I got myself a car decal though I wasn't driving nor do I drive. ha.
