NYP open house. I volunteered to help out and was a tour guide. Led a class of first toh payoh secondary school students around. Kinda fun bringing people around though it was kinda tirin as well. Brought them about till it was almost 5 and then went off. And I did my duty with Gary. On our way back, we met some gals from naval base and we sort of brought them around. I would say they are one friendly group. ha. Had fun talkin and all. And I had my hands on the arcade drum thing and I sucked. ha. Guess I just know how to listen to the beat and not look at the beat. ha. overall had fun. took the Mrt with the gals and went home. That was about it. Didn't go for the Hady concert. My legs are aching. shall go chill out with a beer. =D

Busy Busy Busy me. Poly is never relaxed like I always say. I have bee wanting to blog fo days but just dont have the time. I shall just give a brief update about my life.

Saturday, 20/1
Had a BBQ in the evening with 4E3 at vista park. Pretty cool, having it to rain so heavily. Nice! Thanx calvin. ha. Had no choice but to start a BBQ in the shelter. And interestingly, our host calvin practically bought seafood only, fish, prawns(not fresh), Sotong(frozen), Sting ray(not marinated). I guess the only edible stuff were nuggets and sausages. He could even bring corn without cutting them and washing them.
Anyways, the rain stopped and we BBQed outside. Pretty good weather. The only bad thing that happened to me was that I feel down while riding my bike(some stupid thing on the floor that made my bike skid), leaving me bleeding on both knees and my bike wheel bent. Good thing it could be turned back. That was about it. The rest went to catch a midnigt movie while I cycled home.

Sunday, 21/1
Church as usual. Played for worship and I think I really had a wonderful time playing for God. After church, went for lunch with Bin Xin and all at Bukit Timah Plaza. Following that, I went to Beauty World to meet my fellow cousins. Guys out again. ha. Played pool. It's a good thing I told them to go there instead of lot 1 cos the pool there is like 4.80 only and lot 1 is like 9.90. BIG diff man. Had quite some fun. Following that, we went to play CS. FUN as well! I havent had so much fun to relief stress for such a long time. After all that fun, I went to Grandma's place with Jian Hao for dinner. That was about it. Sat there, watched TV and all and went home at 9.30pm

Tuesday, 23/1
Kinda short day in school, and so after school we went out. Jean, cheryl, yasser and arwin. Went to Far East, kinda boring. Cheryl went to meet her grandma and all while the rest of s just walked around. Went finding for the shop that made personalised shoes. Real hard to find. Anyways most of the designs are for kids and gals. So please order from me instead. haha. Kinda bored, so we took a bus to raffles hotel cos the initial plan was to go to bras basah complex. Got there. And Boy, fun for me. haha. Went shopping around at Art friend. Looking at all the wonderful interestin stuff there. And I bought lots of stuff, new paint and all for my shoes. And of course, I went to look for a discount card and the person I borrowed from happened to be my primary school friend. haha. Somehow when she first looked at me, she could recognise me. haha. cool man. So spent about 30bucks there. And following that, we went to a music store there, and WOW the drum sticks there(the special ones) are like 20 over bucks only!!! So I bought a brush! =D finally got a new stick. lol. I actally bought some sticks from Art friend to make my own stick as well. So, its like getting 2 sticks in one day. Walked to raffles hotel after that. I went to BBR to check out the place and met nathan my friend there. lol. The only one I know there now cos the full timers kinda shift places. Walked to the MRT after that and went home.

Econs Presentation, It's one whole project gone. Phew. Guess it went pretty well except that my throat wasnt feeling too good. After that, went to do marketing project. Guess what, I did that freaking project from like 1 plus to 10pm. Cool hur. Thanks clement for stayin to do the project. We had fun and we did it till the lights at Mac went off. lol. And home I am now. My head is kinda feeling dizzy.

Ha. REAL loooooong post I know. Just have alot to say. so... Nites =D

I'm sick, Yes I am. have been having a bad nose for the past few days. And yet, I still went to school. Quite a relaxed day anyways. Had Econs tutorial and that was it. Did some econs and marketing project after that. Then I went to J8 to meet cheryl, emily, arwin and pj. Then we went to bugis cos I was the one who asked them to go shoppin. ha. In the end I think emily did the most shopping. haha. shopped and in the end went to G2000 and there was like some final sale goin on, and so I bought a formal shirt for only 25 bucks man. I wanted to get a blaizer which was like only 59 bucks. Tried it on and all, asked the lady there and she said it was too big for me. Kinda sad. So nice so cheap and yet cant buy. O well. After that, we went to yoshi to grab a bite. My first meal of the day. Good thing I didnt puke after that. Cos my stomach has some weird problems.

After a quick meal, I went off alone to kallang to meet my cousins cos we were gonna catch a basketball match at the indoor stadium. Singapore vs Melbourne. Kinda know the results already right. Anyways, we walked all the way from kallang to the stadium. Like a 30 over minutes walk. I think that was more than 2.5km for sure. Phew. Relaxed and waited for the match to start. Then met bing xin and kenneth.
The drinks at the indoor stadium are freaking EX!! DAYLIGHT ROBBERY. It's like 3bucks for some big glup, the smallest one somemore with lots of ice and its 10bucks for a cup of beer! OMG!! worse than pubs man. Then during intervals of the match, there were those cheer leaders or whatever they are called that performed some dance. They dont look good at all man. Well, both teams played well, but the score in the end was Singapore 89 Melbourne 96. But overall, they played well.

There was this 3-pointer thing which some AIA people could shoot from and then if i went in, they could win 1000 bucks. Sad to say, no one managed to get it. In the end they drew lots for 6 people to win. And those 6 people could stand a chance to win some car IF they could get the ball in at half court. Abit crap. 3-pointer cannot u wanna hit half court. ha

Home after that, walked and walked till we decided to take a bus. Took a bus to bugis, where I came from, and then MRT home. Went to grab my hokkien mee and off home and here I am. haha. Maybe I should take a MC tomorro. haha. Nites

It's Saturday and yes I'm at home. But before that I was out with frienz. DG was at 11am. Let me tell how blur I am. I set my alarm clock at 9.10am this morning but I woke up at 8.50 and I though it was 9.50am and was wondering why my alarm clock didnt ring. I quickly got changed and all and got ready to get out as I thought I was gonna be late for DG. When I was about to reach the MRT station, I called aaron and he appeared so sleepy. I looked at the time and OMG!! it was only 910. Faints. And so I went home. At 9.50 I left the house. Then Aaron's dad picked me up from clementi to go to Wee Teck's house. Had breakfast with his mum and dad but I didnt eat.

Then it was DG. Shared about what happened this week and all. Watched a video. Today's lesson was about 'The Good News' More of Genesis done. About adam and eve. And we were sort of arguing why God created the tree of knowledge, good and evil in the garden. haha. But overall, we had a fun time.

After DG, most of us went to Gimmoh to have lunch. Ordered quite a number of dishes so that we could all share them. And thank God, when we reached there, there was a table for 10, just nice for us. We ordered stuff like chee kueh, carrot cake, Ipoh hor fun, and I queued for half an hour for 2 plates of the famous char kuey tiao there. Had loads of fun eating as well as talk about different sorts of funny things. I love my DG!! =DD Join us if you can. haha.

Well, today I got back my oral preesntation marks back and guess what, only 35/50 WTH!!! my teacher was like sayin very good this and that, in the end everyone didnt do very well. Only 1 42/50 and that teacher said she had full marks. WOW!! 50-8= full marks. Impressive. n my quiz 26/50. not as bad as I expected. haha.

Is there such a thing as fate that you cant avoid no matter how you try to?

After days of the bright and hot sun came rain and then cloudy sky. Had a 2 hour break for lunch as accounting ended early. Went to Junction 8, thai express to eat our lunch. Had some shrimp fried rice thingy. Pretty good just that it was a little too salty. After eating, we had to rush back to school. Waited for the train and all. And when the train came we boarded. AND OMG!! while we were boarding the announcing came sayin that the door was closing and immediately the door closed! While we were still boarding!!! and some of us almost got caught in between while some left behind. I was furious I went to make a complain. What's with the driver man! I have had so many bad experiences with SMRT buses and trains, like all the bells in the bus not working, and the driver not stopping at the right stop, and worse still leaving the door open when he was driving! Spoiled aircons in the bus that can make you perspire like mad! And once while I was crossing the road, with the green light of course, a bus just came dashing like 1ft away from me! OMG! what's with people these days. You'll get yourself killed somehow if this goes on.

Sometimes I feel that fate brings about somethings you wish it would not happen and it's real hard to avoid the situations no matter how hard you try to avoid so. Perhaps, it's God having a plan behind everything that happens. So when that happens, is it good or bad? haha.

Community Ties: It's the basics that count. Please read today's Straits Times 8th January 2007. There's an article, startin on the right hand side of the front page to the second page. All about my wonderful neighbourhood and my wonderful neighbours. This is the life I live. So kampong. And there's me in the picture of course. haha. the guy sitting right in the front wearing brown. That's me. haha.
First it was the shooting star or comet or just a satelite falling into earth's atmosphere, and now it's the article my neighbourhood has been waiting for.

It's Sunday, the first Sunday of the year. As usual, church was the first priority on the list. Took a bus to church, but suay suay, the bus broke down on the way. WTH la! Thank God another bus came just right after that. After church, had lunch with Bing Xin, Raphel, Amos, Kenneth at Bukit Timah Plaza. talked and all. Went over to Al-amen side after that with Bing Xin to get some snacks. Then it was off home.

In the evening neighbours had some final gathering in our wonderfully made garden, all done by ourselves fo the last time. A ramp is gonna be made starting tomorrow. After years of asking and complaining, our ramp has finally arrived. And as we were eating, something flashed out right in front of me! IT WAS A SHOOTING STAR!!! OMG!!! I though shooting stars were like those stupid fakes shows also have. I didnt expect it to be so real, right before my very eyes. A splendid and amazing sight. It lasted for quite some time as it flew past the very blue sky into the clouds till it could no longer be seen. I was awe struck. I didn't think of making a wish or what. haha. But it was a amazing sight indeed. What wonder God has created. A new star, a new start. Memories of it will last indeed. =D

It's a brand new year but it's kind of a real bad start. It's like the first week of school and not 5 days but just 2 days and its hell. Everything seems to be coming much faster than I have ever expected. Projects are so crap. All thanx to NYP who made such stupid crap. Some internet project where u can only use the search engines in school and the search engines dont seem to be of any help. Total waste of time. Besides that, I still have my marketing, macroeconomics, persuasive, and soon another project, front page will be added on. PLUS all the ica's and exam starts after chinese new year. I'm just crap right now. I really dont feel like doing anything at all. ARghhhhh!!!

Hi everyone, I've just been too lazy to post, and so I have decided to write everything that has happened ever since after christmas till now.

After christmas, on the 27-29, it was WOW's refresh camp. We had it at Mt Emily, Hangout, where the s'pore idols stayed at in case you do not know where. it's up some ulu place.

We first had some activities and games in church, then we moved on to Hangout. Checked in all.. blah blah blah.. Some highlights of the camp for me were perhaps the prayer walk thing we had at Saint Mary's Columborium and at the Botanic Garden's where we were walking in the rain. ha. Despite the rain all the time, I still enjoyed myself. Followed by that, it was dinner at Singapore Recreation Club, which I found quite stupid because we could have just eaten somewhere nearby the hotel so that we could go back fast. But instead we went all the way to SRC to eat what?? fried rice, laksa, and other food we can find at a foodcourt. I ordered Mee Goreng, and woah!!! it was hell a killer. It was freakingly hot till I was dripping perspiration and tears intensively. I saw that everyone's elses mee goreng looked so nice and brown that's why I ordered. But mine was like red!!! I killed myself eating it man. Worse thing is that the food there is expensive man. at least 5.50 a plate of anything. All these happened in the second day.

My stomach was like some blackhole during the camp man. you see me eating, and the next minute, I'm freaking hungry. And that explains why my 'gang' ordered macdonalds on the first night at camp, and kfc the second night. haha.

On the last day we checked out at 10am. From there, we had our morning worship and all, followed by lunch by oureslves. Most of us had it at KK hospital, cause after lunch, we were going to visit the children at KK hospital. And there, some of us sang songs to them, read to them, and made balloons for them. It was kinda fun I guess. after that, we all went back to church. Everyone was kinda tired. Some slept, some played games. When everyone was back, they started the closing session thing. I was outside helping bing xin set up the lights and all. The spotlights were like so bright they could make you blind if you just stared at it for about 3seconds. When everyone was out, we started the bbq, done by the caterer, The food was pretty good. Had stuff like softshell crab, stingray, satay, taiwan sausage, and kerbabs. Done with dinner, some went on to play games and play music. Ws really a fun day we had and indeed it was a fun fun fun camp.

And so that's just camp, now's what happened just yesterday. New Year's Eve. Interesting Sunday I would say. 2006 started with the 1st on Sunday and the last day on Sunday as well. Went to church as usual, Wow had a thanksgiving service at 9am till bt 1030. After that, everyone was hanging out, talking. We had the mission trippers from living water's to joined us as well. Aaron and I waited for the camp meeting to end, then we went to join aunty yu ting's Dg for lunch at her place. Fun joining other's dg to get to know others better. Had prata. haha. then we had chocolate fondue. After all the fun, we all departed to different parts of the world. I went home. Had a chill for a while at home. then went to stella's house which syabil supposedly said. In the end it was over at tekong park for a bbq. How interesting hur. there was syabil, yong kai, swee wen, calvin, yan zheng, pei shan, hui ying, chao yang, stella from what I can remember. We ate played cards and chatted. I taught them how to play bridge. haha. Then it started to drip from the sky. Nothin much. Then we sort of started to play with fire. haha. We started to get bored, and so walked to cwp to watch some countdown performance which was so stupid we decided to play sparklers. We bought them and went down to the front of sports school to play. haa. We were there on some mission actually. but nothin. haha. had loads of fun playing. After that, it was home for all. Interestin and fun new year hur. haha. Went home, ate some noodles cos I was hungry. haha. and had my beer daniel lim gave me. =D
