Live each day to the Fullest 30 December 2008
Just before 2008 ends, I shall make one final post, knowing that I won't be home tomorrow. 2008 has been one long journey, with lots of ups and downs. School, family, friends, church, these have been the things surrounding my life this year among many other things. Being an impromptu post, I shan't elaborate much.
This past half year after my holidays have been rather busy. Among projects and test, my dad was in the hospital for a month. And through all circumstances, I could really see who my friends really are, and certainly, there are just so many people not worth mentioning. On the other hand, I'm glad I still have friends who love me. The times we spent together will never be forgotten.
I believe my family has also grown closer with all the hospital visits for one whole month. I thank one and all who have truely given my family so much love and support.
Most importantly, there's no one else above all these things besides God. In all things that have been going on.
These past two weeks, the last 2 of 2008 have really been so meaningful to me. Somehow, I have been able to feel God's pressence and him working in me. He has been so real in my life. He has given me so much love and gave me people who love me so much.
I believe that God is working in my life, showing me signs, telling me what to do, giving me opportunities I never knew they exist. I thank God, for giving me someone to love. Even as Christmas has passed, during this festive month of love and giving, God has assured me all the time. Going for my senior youth retreat yesterday night, God assured me once again with this verse I believe it's so important.
'John 15:12-13 This is my commandment, Love each other in the same way I have loved you, There in no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends.'
I believe everyone can find meaning in this verse. Just let God speak to you. And from all that I've been through, I decided on this phrase that I will bring on to 2009.
"Love Giving, Giving Love"
I shall elaborate more on this the next time. In the meantime, do think about it friends. With all these, I wish one and all a blessed New Year ahead. May the love and peace of God be with you always, till the very end of this edge. Amen
Loving you always, Justin.
It's over
