26th January: 1st Day of Chinese New Year.

Somehow it just didn't seem like CNY to me. Went to a total of 4 places. Did nothing much though. I just wanna play some MJ! Ha. The fun only begins with friends of course! =D Back to school on Wednesday again. Sighs. 2 projects & 2 tests to go. And I can't wait to start driving! =D

yet.... 4 more projects, 2 big test, & 1 ED Day to go... PLUS 3 exam papers...


Been doing entre since 11am yesterday morning, figuring out how to balance the balance sheet, checking that all figures were right. Great thanks to rachel and to my aunt that helped me with it. I feel so satisfied knowing that everything's in place. I so believe God puts the right people in the right place at the right time.

Let's hope everything else goes well. Trust in God, and he will make your path straight.

I guess, I have to accept my life the way it is. Despite so many obstacles, breakdowns, and what I have never expected. I just feel so blessed, so much more than many people out there, for the family and friends God has given to me. I know I always mention family and friends so much in my blog, and that's because they mean alot to me.

Despite of how the flow of the crowd may go, among the people I am forced to co-relate with, I will still stand by my convictions, my stand, who I really am, and the person God made and wants me to be. Too bad if you just don't think the way I think, because I just feel that so many people out there are still living in their own dillusion, their own world, they haven't woken up to what reality is all about. Thinking they are in playland, behaving like little kids. I just feel so sad for them.

Though life can be sometimes a little not so good, I rather enjoy mine to the fullest rather than brood over pathetic stuff. So why not some beef steak, fish & Chips with some chilled cold beer. All those sinful delights under the starry sky, with some cool breeze. What a night I had. =D


Till this day, I thank God for bringing G into my life. If this was a mistake, it would be the biggest mistake ever made. Gladly, it will never be one. =D

This post will be a long one, but hey, take the time to read it. I believe that this is something really important to everyone.

Just as I was talking to G last night, I got myself thinking on the word 'Depends', as often as she uses it. Here's what the dictionary has to say:

Depends:
To rely, especially for support or maintenance
To place trust or confidence: You can depend on his honesty.
To be determined, conditioned, or contingent
To have a dependence: began to depend more and more on drugs.
To be pending or undecided.

As we can see, the word depends has so many meanings to it. I would like to focus on 2 main points in relation to depends, depends(being undecided) and depends(being dependent upon something/someone).

Oftenly used when asking someone out, making decisions, many people use the word depends, because they do not know what is going to happen on that particular day and perhaps, they do not want to make a commitment. And as a result, it leads to a huge amount of uncertainty, leaving the other party at a loss, not knowing what would be next. This often results in mixed emotions, unhappiness, quarrels, and who knows what.

Just imagine your friend asking you out 3 weeks before the date, and you telling him/her, 'it all depends', though you know very well that you are able to make it that day. But just day(s) before the actual date, you had clean forgotten about the request and decided to carry on with another activity. Would that be fair?

Repeating it once again, the word depends, does cause alot of uncertainty.

On the other hand the word depends happens to be about dependence, when one depends on something or someone, and even a situation or for something to happen before it results in something. It is like depending on that something, a third party before making a decision. Let's put it this way, you have arranged with your friends for a date and you are not sure if you may have something on that day, perhaps work, therefore telling your friends that it will depend on the situation.

Let us talk about a person using the word depends, which many people do. From my point of view(you may not agree with me), a person who uses the word depends often:

1. Is someone that finds it hard or impossible to make commitments. And if someone finds it hard making the simplest of commitments, wouldn't that make his/her life so indecisive?

2. Will be uncertain in the things that he/she does because everything that he/she does will have the word depends in it. 'It all depends on this, on that.'

3. Would always be dependent on someone/something, a third party decision maker.

4. Will be someone rather reliant.

5. May not be a committed person when it comes to making important decisions.

In life, there are always decisions to make. And I feel, that it is through making decisions, that people grow, become more mature, become more decisive in life. Most importantly, learn to keep your promises. If you agreed on something, and make your word for real. And if something crops up after that, it may be wise to decline the offer UNLESS it is something really important like a family matter, or something that really needs you to attend to. Even as such, you have to make the right decisions and not use it as an excuse.

A split road has only 2 paths ahead of you, the left or the right. There's no turning back. It's either a Yes or a No, a Right or a Wrong. It is only when a decision is so difficult to make that we pause to think about it. But ultimately, you are still left with 2 choices to make. And remember, when you commit yourself to something, remember to keep your promise and fufil it.

This is what I feel many people, whether adults or teenagers have to learn. To Promise, To Commit, To Assure.

When things don't go your way, you just gotta go with the flow. With so many projects and test to go (6 projects + 2 tests), and exams in the pipeline, what more can I say, besides a life revolving round these things. But soon, and I'm glad, I'll be out of poly soon.

And through everything, only one person stands real in my life, God. The immature behavior of humans, the childishness of 'grown ups' are so real in my life. It's no wonder I'm just on a different frequency sometimes.

I'm glad I have my family, my friends, my loved ones, and you that God has put into my life. For that, there's nothing more I could ever ask for. The waves are rough, the path ever winding, but without the strength from God, and the encouragement you have given to me, I won't be what I am today.

I know it's been awhile since I blogged, due to a crazily hectic schedule, well, there's nothing much to blog about either, besides projects?

I'm glad I have finished editting whatever photoshoots I needed to complete. Just last saturday, 030109, I attended my cousin's wedding, and well, I ended up as the photographer again.

Why? Because the main photographer my cousin hired was 2 hours late. What unprofessionalism. And I too wondered what he covered given that, I seemed to be on location more than he was. I suppose he was assuming that whatever I covered, he did not have to. He utterly made my day bad by offering to pay me for what I had covered when he wasn't there from the start. Such an insult, results in some bad trashing of words from me. This is the company he came from http://www.dreamzcoffee.com/ and I think this company totally lacks professionalism in the way they handle things. Trust me on this, if you're looking for a photographer for your special day/occasion, look for a reliable one. Most importantly, I think you should look for one whose style you like and not from a company that randomly gives you some crappy guy. I just can't imagine what it would be like if I hadn't taken any pictures at all.

This was how it all went. Shan't talk any further, it'll just piss me off again...
